About the Book

This is the author’s first venture into publishing her works. She hopes that you enjoy her day-to-day reflections on life. This is a collection of poems dedicated to her family and friends.

About the Author

Ruth Ruger is a church going mother of four, grandmother of eleven and great grandmother of one. Upon the death of her husband James Lamont of 53 years, she married William Ruger who had four children, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She loves her large extended family. Ruth graduated from Saginaw (Michigan) High School and attended some college classes. She took various classes in English, cooking and art. Her hobbies are art, cooking and friends. She loves the four seasons and the scenery of Michigan. Her specialty in cooking is making the food appealing and appetizing. She loves entertaining family and friends. She has kept in touch with many school friends scattered throughout the country. She has many of the holiday celebrations at her house. She enjoys doing abstract and stylized art projects and marketed some of her drawings on general greeting cards.
