Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, Janice grew up with lots of pets and a large imagination. She started writing for pleasure at a young age. She went to college to work with exotic animals. Caring for her pets as well as endangered species for over ten years, she found enjoyment in writing about what she loves the most, animals. The Cat’s Pajamas was specifically inspired by her cat, Lynx. She hopes to encourage parents and children to love reading.
