About the Book

This book was born from an experience far greater than I ever imagined. I began memorializing an event that forever changed my approach to wanting more out of life, people, and experiences. It was so surreal and hard to leave that moment and say goodbye. And so I didn’t. I couldn’t. Therefore, I decided to capture the very essence of what I was feeling so that I will always have a sincere and fresh recall of what transpired, and I weaved it into the fibers of my existence, striving to be my best self not just for me but also for every life I have an opportunity to impact and affect. It is my hope and prayer that this book will take you there, to that place and that specific moment in time where you will be transplanted, influenced, and inspired—just as I was—to be your best self.

About the Author

A loyal native to one of the most diverse, entertaining, culinary destinations of the world - New Orleans, Louisiana. I’ve held a varied and interesting career with extraordinary and unique experiences spanning from the Pacific to Europe. From the halls of Capitol Hill to the offices of the United States Transportation Command, the shores of Pearl Harbor and historic mountains of West Point Military Academy - where leaders are born, I’ve excelled among my peers, honing exceptional management and personal skills. These experiences set me upon the trajectory I currently enjoy and forged in me a fire to bring out the best in others.
