About the Author

Jim Rodgers was a professor of social science, specializing in political history and theory and geography, for 34 years at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. He has authored three previous books on political violence: international and domestic. He is an active member of the Western History Association and a frequent reader and researcher of American history. Jim enjoys traveling the Great Plains and American West.
