About the Book

The photograph for the cover was taken by Brenda near her home in New York City. It was a crisp winter’s day with a bright sun and a moon in the distance. Lupus is found in millions worldwide but in mostly women, some men, and children too. This book is written with the help of some kids from Kearny, New Jersey, with big hearts, lots of love, and spirits of hope for a cure, bright futures, and dreams that fly higher than we can see! La fotografía de la portada fue tomada por Brenda cerca de su casa en la ciudad de Nueva York. Era un día de invierno crujiente con un sol brillante y una luna en la distancia. El lupus se encuentra en millones en todo el mundo, pero en su mayoría mujeres, algunos hombres y niños también.
