About the Author

Dr. Bebe V. Villarreal received her BA from the University of St. Thomas, her M.Ed in Educational Education from Stephen F. Austin State University, and her Ph.D from Penn Sate University in Curriculum & Instruction/Early Childhood Ed. She served as an elementary school principal for many years, and taught all grades K-12 in the public schools including Bilingual Education/ESL. She received many awards from the U.S. Department of Education for her development of early childhood programs and bilingual curriculum including Adult Education. Dr. Villarreal is a member of many professional organizations in her fields of study. She has presented numerous times at the NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children)and NABE (National Association for Bilingual Education as well as others. She is listed in the Women in Leadership in the U.S. Her hobbies include reading writing, classical music, art, the theatre, and good movies.Dr. Villarreal live sin San Antonio, Texas.
