About the Book

This book is about perseverance, resilience, and the ability to follow our dreams. What obstacle do your children face? How do they overcome them? Many things seem very difficult at first; however, with the right support and a strong focus on our goals, we can achieve just about anything. The important thing is not to let those distractions and those who do not believe in us undermine our efforts.

About the Author

Viera Gernigant is a qualified Early Childhood teacher and has worked in the field for the past 10 years as well as raising her own 2 children. She believes that children should be enhancing their dispositions to become valuable contributors to society. She is a strong believer that children should be taught how to think and not what to think. Born in Slovakia and now a citizen of New Zealand, she has lived and worked in three different countries, therefore she finds it easy learning how to adapt and relate to people from different social and cultural environments. The illustrator, Tinka Zanova, also born in Slovakia and now residing in New Zealand with her family. She is a maker and decorator of wooden children toys and educational resources. Her passion and creativity expands into creating beautiful illustrations for book writers.
