J. G. Mack tells a story about a genius yet aloof young man named Charlie Taylor, who takes us on a journey that questions our own sanity. What if we were in his shoes? He taught himself how to cope with his manic behavior and came out on top most of the time. This is a truly inspirational true story of a young man on a roller-coaster ride through the Midwest. About the Author

J. G. Mack is a resident of McHenry, Illinois, for thirty-three years and a retired union plumber. He is a proud father of two very successful adult children raised in McHenry as well. He is also a US Navy vet (1974–1980), with an honorable discharge. He is an academic researcher, a fledgling writer, and a newly published author and huge fan of the McHenry Public Library and staff.
