About the Book
This is a true story, which Mrs. Rose adapted from the Bible. It tells the story of Prince Amnon the heir to the Throne of Israel. He fell madly in love with his beautiful, virgin sister Princess Tamar. He pretends to be sick to get Tamar to come to his palace to bake him cakes. While she is there, he rapes her, and then have her thrown out, and bolts the door behind her. Her other brother Prince Absalom becomes very angry and waits for two years, and have Amnon murdered. This is a true family drama, which you will not be able to put down.
About the Author
Mrs. Yvonne Rose is a native of Jamaica West Indies, where she taught in the Public Schools there, before migrating to the United States several years ago. She is the author of several books, some of which have been published. Besides, teaching, writing is one of her favorite pastimes. This is her first Novel, which is exciting and full of suspense. She is a graduate of Community Bible Institute and Seminary with several degrees in Biblical Studies, and from Shortwood Teachers College in Jamaica West Indies.
