About the Book

All teenage girls has boy problems some of us a little more than others. I was one of the ones who had numerous boy problems. Instead of letting people know when my feelings were hurt I wrote my feelings down into a poem. I never wanted people to know if I were in my feeling and also never thought people would understand what I was feeling. This book is to show girls that it is ok to be sad over a boy and that they are not alone. The poems all tell the story of what I was feeling and going through. I would like girls to always come back to this book and read whatever poem that is most relatable to their boy problems.

About the Author

My name is Kayla Rose and I am 19 years old. I dream of becoming an entertainer hosting award shows and having my own TV talk show. I was first introduced to poetry in the 8th grade when my teacher assigned us to a poetry project. We had to write a poem for every letter in the alphabet. As I went along to high school I had my fair share of boy problems just like any other teenage girl will have. My junior year I had to write a poem for an assignment. The poem I wrote “Because I Could Not Stop for Love” was the first poem I wrote about a boy and is also the first poem that is published in a book name “Treasure”. As my years of high school went on I continued to write poems about my feelings because I did not like to let people know when I was hurt. I hope this book can let girls know that they are not going through boy problems alone and it is ok to be sad about a boy as long as you get back up!
