About the Author

Atul Vohra is president of Majesco Software, Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Mastek Ltd., which provides global IT and IT-enabled solutions to global and domestic corporations. Atul is also an adjunct faculty at Southern Methodist University where he teaches a course, Global Strategy, to MBA students. Before joining Mastek in 2000, Atul was with Citigroup, first with Citibank for nine years, mostly in Europe, and then with the Associates before it was acquired by Citigroup. At The Associates, he was most recently president of their U.S. Insurance Operations. In Europe with Citibank, Atul gained considerable international experience as part of the pan European team that developed and implemented the relationship banking strategy in Greece, Spain, Germany and Belgium. His European tour culminated as the country business manager for Citibank’s consumer bank in Hungary; Citi’s first consumer business in central Europe. Prior to Europe, Atul built a successful cross-border business for Citibank in America (Citi-NRI). His early professional years were spent in India/Asia learning the global marketing trade at Cheeseborough Ponds and American Express. Atul lives in Dallas, Texas, with his wife and two daughters.
