About the Book

WE INVITE YOU TO PARTICIPATE AEDOK, the Archive for Education and Dissemination Of Knowledge, discovered this delightful tale of the trials and tribulations of a family of “mouse folk”. It was “just sitting in a box”, as they say. The story was in multiple drafts, of some disarray and incompleteness, so we edited it and completed it. This was not a trivial task however, for what appeared to be more recent drafts, were incomplete, and what appeared to be more complete drafts, were covered with notes and corrections. Thus it was necessary to carefully merge various portions of various drafts, and occasionally fill in with new text connecting various portions, hopefully, in the originally intended style and character. But then a flash! Where’s the pictures? There were none! The story was so well conceived that art work would not actually be a necessity, but what a children’s book it would be if we did have pictures. A good story line and artwork. That’s what we wanted. AEDOK has decided to “search the world” for the artwork. We want your art and talent.
