About the Author

Al Ver Burg holds four advanced degrees – B.A., M.A., M.A., B.D. He is a gifted therapist in treating depression, dealing with marriage and family situations, and a theologian. He has developed a unique way of helping people become all they can be and live life to the fullest. This book, “Lost Potential”, is designed to help parents and teachers understand why children behave the way they do, and show ways of dealing with behavioral problems. It is intended to help adults handle children in positive ways and avoid resorting to drugs if at all possible. Al is a highly experienced therapist, who has helped thousands of people, who came to his office from coast to coast, twenty-three states and the western providences of Canada. He has been in counseling since 1968. He has also held seminars and training programs for lay and professional people. His system is unique in simplicity and focuses on short term counseling with lifelong results.
