About the Book

About the Author

Calandra Wise, currently works with children in a VPK program. The author is a mother of two children Cleopatra and David. The author was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1970 and grew up in Lake City, Florida where she earned her education. She continued her education at Lake City Community College, Jones College and Florida Metropolitan University. In 2002-2004, Calandra Wise was awarded Recognitions of Outstanding Merit and Accomplishments for Who’s Who Among Students In American Universities and Colleges. The author served on many Boards of Directors such as I.M. Sulzbacher Center and At-Large Seat for The Florida HIV/AIDS Planning Group. The author’s poetry and children’s books include: Light, Spirit and Truth copyright at the Library of Congress, Momma’s Day Care, and Imagine Africa.
