About the Book

Tommy the Tugboat works on the river pushing barges and freighters and great ocean liners. One day he receives a distress call to help a big ship that is stuck at the mouth of the river. Tommy’s great strengths of character and perseverance prevail in the end where other gave up. Tommy the Tugboat is the first of a series of children’s books designed to display positive human attributes in characters including Tommy the Tugboat, Fiona the Forklift, Charlie the Crane, Danny the Digger, Terri the Towtruck and many more. The author, Grant Gamble, and the artist, Mike Uriss, have teamed up to create this unique series of high quality children’s books in order to encourage children to recognize the value of a positive attitude to life and adversity.

About the Author

Grant Gamble grew up in Australia, and later moved to the USA. Grant’s primary focus has always been on ‘Wellness’ and he has used his writing and presentation skills to spread that message through a variety of forums. His passion for writing has extended from Children’s Books to Non-Fiction works. In this book he has teamed up with Mike Uriss to create the first of a series of Illustrated Children’s Books that display the positive characteristics that every parent hopes their children will embrace.
