About the Author
Tommy Tong’s last name is sometimes spelled ‘Tang’ as in the Tang Dynasty. He westernized the spelling so he wouldn’t be confused with the breakfast ‘drink of astronauts’ that became popular in the early days of space travel. Tong is the correct pronunciation; Tang is considered correct spelling. To be most accurate and resolve the matter, the actual spelling is唐, and such is the simplexity of China. As with the Tang Dynasty, Tommy spent his early days on military escapades traipsing the world, exerting influence and enforcing the will of his powerful nation. He took on the most challenging assignments and served in the most elite units. A true warrior at heart, Tommy understands that peace is best won through diplomacy and commerce. Leaving his beloved military profession, he shifted from defense to offense as he entered the international business world. He most enjoys teaching others what he has learned.
