About the Book

The Bridge at the Edge of the Universe. In a time when people are inundated with information and yet don’t know how to proceed, here is a book that provides answers and direction. The Bridge at the Edge of the Universe helps people to make sense of their lives by seeing the world differently and thus getting better results from moment to moment and year-to-year. We are all having a conversation with the universe every moment of every day. Do we wear these clothes or others? Do we put on the right shoe or the left one first? What do I put in my body and why? Who is making the rules and why is the tax code unreadable? So many people are sleepwalking through their lives without awareness of the moment or any reason or direction for existence. This book examines, from an artist point of view, how to raise consciousness and awareness of oneself and our immediate environment. It has practical tools for getting better results in one's life by understanding basic principles and structures we live with every day, but may never have questioned. Using and expanding upon the “Map of Consciousness” developed by Dr. David Hawkins, Jeffrey Weston explains in simple terms how anyone who thinks positively about our world can develop the ability to tell the difference between essence and appearance and get immediate answers to questions such as: Should I buy this used car from this person? Will it be a lemon? Will it be a sound car that last me for many years with minimal expenses? Is this person telling me the truth? What is the most important thing for me to do in this instance? Where is God? With a little practice, life takes on an ordered meaning and with direction comes happiness and peace of mind. Lastly, this book is filled with Jeffrey's paintings and artwork. People seem to be satisfied, saying, “I may not know much about art, but I know what I like.” The book takes people to a place where they say, “I may not know much about art, but I recognize that great art will uplift me and allow me to perceive and experience balance, grace, joy and beauty in my life.”
