AUTHORS MARCO AND KATE ANZANI TALK ABOUT GUSTO: LIVE, LOVE, TASTE TURNING THEIR PASSION FOR FOOD INTO A COOKBOOK

Marco and Kate Anzani

Anything done with enthusiasm is its own reward. Many Xlibris self-published authors have expressed their love of writing and enjoyed the process with little regard to money or fame. Others have used Xlibris’ supported self-publishing services to express their passion and advance their businesses. Xlibris’ expertise and extensive publishing packages respond to every writer’s needs to realize their writing dreams.

With their dedication to good food and hospitality, restaurateur couple Marco and Kate Anzani used Xlibris’ special self-publishing packages to further their passion and promote their brand of restaurants to the international market. Their combined dedication resulted in a cookbook called Gusto: Live, Love, Taste, released in 2010.

Gusto: Live, Love, Taste, also in e-book format, encapsulates the couple’s marriage of ideas that birthed the Anzani brand. A sequel titled Anzani, aimed at rebranding their chain of restaurants, is also in the pipeline.

Anzani’s chain of restaurants—Bellini, Gusto, and Mozza—cater to different foodies, including fine-dining enthusiasts, urban yuppies, and cheese aficionados. Kate and Marco are keen on providing their customers a superb dining experience that will ease their stress away or free them from the hustle and bustle of the workplace.

The New York Times named Chef Marco Anzani as one of the founders of “new Mediterranean cuisine.” His culinary vision to wake the “epicurean in everyone through textures and flavors” has brought him to different parts of the world and earned him numerous achievements including a three-star Michelin ranking, as well as collaborations with culinary masters such as Paul Bocuse, Alain Ducasse, Trignois, among others.

Behind every great chef husband is a superwoman wife in the person of Kate Dychangco-Anzani. Kate is an entrepreneur, events organizer, food and lifestyle editor, magazine contributor, and a food and travel show host. With Kate’s degree in restaurant business and catering events management and Marco’s culinary know-how, theirs is a match made in heaven.
