About the Book

Delivered is a story about a woman, named Heaven who lived a double life. Heaven, known for her beauty, defined herself as man’s best friend as she secretly gave them their hearts desires. But there was more to Heaven than she knew. Not knowing her identity, she hid herself in her fleshly abilities but later found that her identity was already defined, she just had to see it.

About the Author

Rhabi Rites is a locally known playwright who has written several stage plays including It's My Turn, The Last Call, a musical, and A Test of Faith, three plays that have received great reviews. Rhabi is also a recipient of one writing award for the Best Feature Film, Keep Out, at the Pinnacle Studios in Yanceyville, NC, and she has received an award for Most Inspired Playwright from Diamond Productions in Greenville, SC in 2013. She is also a published author of three monologues, Peaks of Peace featured in Elder and Leemaur's book Young Authors of Tomorrow; and Cost of Independence and Moment of Silence, featured in Young Women's Monologs edited by Gerald Lee Ratliff. Rhabi is the founder and playwright for a nonprofit organization, Reaching All Worlds, Inc., located in Greensboro, NC. This small organization has 12 members who are actors and who have fully supported her efforts in bringing stage plays to the community. Rhabi's plays have traveled as far as Washington, DC to perform for her family's reunion in 2012. Aside from her writing, Rhabi enjoys the outdoors. She is most inspired to write when she is surrounded by water and mountains. Some of her best writing has come when she is flying on a plane to a destination. Above the Clouds, a monologue written in 2011, was born on one of the Delta flights to Miami. She also loves reading, cooking, hiking, singing and is a Vocal Coach to several singers in the area. Her favorite passtime is just sitting by the window watching the wind blow and hearing the birds sing. Rhabi was born and currently resides in Greensboro, NC where she has been all of her life. She is single, the mother of one son, and she holds several positions at her local church, Genesis Baptist Church, located in Greensboro. Rhabi finds peace when she writes and hopes that her writings will continually inspire those who read it.
