About the Book

These poems are God’s gift to me in my morning quiet time and I make of them a gift to you. I am so often amazed at the words that appear on the page as I write. I know these thoughts are not the ones I am used to living with day to day, and I worship God for His words revealed through me, a simple seeker who loves Him. In these pages you will hear God speaking to you. You will also hear me whining at God (seems like when my writing is all about me and my shortcomings, I must be whining). And there follows a section that is perhaps rhetorical, perhaps not. We can all gain from the words written here. May these simple and sometimes inconsistent thoughts bless you and draw you closer to Him.

About the Author

I have shared these poems with many listeners: pastors, evangelists, brothers and sisters in Christ, family, friends, and coworkers. Everyone is as amazed as I am myself at these poems, and all take something personal away with them from hearing these inspired words. I just know that if I found this book in a bookstore, picked it up, and read a few lines, I would want it for myself, then decide to wait. But if I continued to read, I would think of first one and then another who could be encouraged by these poems, and I know I would find a way to buy it for them before I left the store.
