About the Book

The story unfolds as Naomi Sanders, an art major in college marries, Jason.  She exchanges her urban setting for the desolate four thousand-acre Bear Harbor Ranch in Northern California.

Naomi is challenged by her surroundings, as well as, recovering from the death of her young sister.  She begins to be plagued by unexplained events.  Just when she finally comes to grips with what is happening to her, she is devastated by the death of her father.  Through the support and love of her husband and friends Joan and Bill, she begins to cope.  She doesn’t realize she has been chosen to solve a hundred year old mystery to which she has discovers the secret of her ties to the past.

The story takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride. The characters are brought to life through a series of events that can be related to real life situations. It shows their inner growth and their ability to pull together in times of need.  They learn that there is truly such a thing as being sole mates for life. Contains no explicit sexual content.

About the Author

Julie E. Grace was born and raised in California. While a single parent with four daughters, she pursued a career in Retail Management and Marketing. Her interests are in art, writing, and most of all her six grandchildren. She has received several awards for her poetry from 1989 to present and continues to write. She has recently completed a collection of 35 poems entitled “ Visions of Apercu” and is presently busy at work on a fantasy novel. She currently resides in Missouri with her husband, Joseph.
