About the Book

John Van Eeden is an exercise fanatic, according to his family and friends. He lives in Caledon, Ontario, with his wife Elizabeth and is the father of three daughters. He is retired from his long time career as a Senior Mechanical/Piping Designer that had taken him to many cities across the world. Staying true to his love of exercise, John would always fi nd local fi tness clubs to join while he was away. Even after four knee and one spinal operation, John continues to actively participate in several classes like boot camp, strength training, Zumba, Pilates, and yoga. While recovering from his spinal operation, John read dozens of national and international health and fi tness literature and noticed that fi tness for men and women was always separated. This gave him the idea of putting both men and women’s exercises together and inspired him to write his own exercise book. John is a registered fi tness instructor specialist and has taken older adult fi tness courses.
