About the Author

Mwizenge Tembo is a Professor of Sociology at Bridgewater College in Virginia in the United States. He grew up in the village in Zambia in Southern Africa and was a Research Fellow at the Institute of African Studies of the University of Zambia. He is a writer, columnist who has published over 100 columns, and storyteller. He is a freelance photographer who has sold and used many of his works for illustrations. He is the author of 4 books: Titbits for the Curious (1989), Legends of Africa (1996), The Bridge (Novel) (2005), Zambian Traditional Names (2006).
