From My Heart To Yours

About the Book

I was born in Nebraska and lived most of my life there. I was raised in a Christian family and attended church regularly. Graduated from high school in 1943. I lived and worked in Washington, DC from 1945-1947. I had accepted Christ as my Savior in my teen years but strayed away from Him. In 1947 , while still single, I gave birth to my son. Because of that and the guilt I felt I was convinced that God had no use for me. I tried for many years to prove to Him and everyone around that I still had value. But I fi nally realized I could not prove anything to God. All I could do was give Him this mess I had made of my life. He has taken that mess and turned it into something very different. I had become old and crabby. He made me young and joyful in Him. God has shown me that through writing I can bless others and help them fi nd the joy I have. I want my writing to refl ect what God desires to do through a life given to Him. Edna Sherwood
