Katie Goes to Daycare

About the Book

I wrote this book for my youngest daughter. She is about three years old. My wife and I both work so we have to send her to daycare. I sometimes had a difficult time with that. Sometimes so did my daughter. I would look at her pretty face and wonder what her thoughts were. I wanted to write a book about her at home each morning to daycares front door. In my book I try to capture how she feels about it and how her family helps her cope with it. My little one loves this book. I’m sure you and your little ones will too.

About the Author

Hello! My name is Henry Wells Babcock. I am 51 years old. I was born and raised in Northern New Jersey. I grew up there with my brother and three sisters in the wooded country and farmlands of Sussex Country. Throughout my life I’ve always worn my heart on my sleeve. At a young age I started pouring it allout on paper. Mainly poems verse and song. I wrote my first piece for my younger brother when I was eleven years old. Later on in life as I grew older, I started thinking about ideas for a book. I decided on a children’s book for my daughter. I still love in Northern New Jersey with my wife and five children.
