About the Book

HE’S SPENT HIS LIFE LOOKING FOR “THE RIGHT WOMAN”. HE SHOULD HAVE QUIT WHILE HE WAS AHEAD. THE NINETIES. A time of dial-up internet. Blockbuster Video. The white Bronco. And…walls coming down. Tony Amante can’t remember at what point it all began to fall apart. Was it at his thirteenth birthday party when his girlfriend dumped him for his best friend? Was it the day he gave up his dream of being a writer in order to fulfill his role as husband, father and provider? Now, nearing his fortieth birthday, his life is in shambles - his ex is remarrying and taking their daughter to live overseas, and Tony is alone, stuck in the family business he detests. Despite it all however, he’s convinced that everything in his life would fall neatly into place if he could just find the one piece that’s missing from his emotional jigsaw puzzle. “Be careful what you wish for…” Tony once told his ex before he walked out of her life. Now, his own dreams are coming true…with shocking revelations he never could have imagined. A powerful novel about betrayal, midlife transformation, and forgiveness. Oh, and murder.

About the Author

Gary Vinturella was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, in the fall of 1953. He is a graduate of the University of New Orleans, with a BS in Accounting. He is insanely happily married to the woman of his dreams, who, twenty-plus years ago, added two stepdaughters to his own fold of a daughter and a son. He is also the proud (and exhausted) grandfather of ten. Today he and his wife reside in the Lakeview area of New Orleans where he can usually be found with his face buried in his ever-present laptop, or sitting on his sundeck, his wife and a random grandchild or two at his side. The author has also written three other books; Storm Clouds, a secular fiction novel, The Stones Cry Out, a Biblical perspective on the 2001 World Trade Center attacks, and Entrusted With the Mysteries of God, a book of devotionals.
