About the Book
The book tells of men I met in Stillwater's Education Department. It centers on one man's quest to earn a college AA diploma. He became convinced that earning a degree and becoming computer literate would dramatically improve his life after prison. His belief became an obcession. In the end, he failed and in desperation and frustration he took his own life.
About the Author
Late in life, after a thirty (30) year career in wholesale sales and a seventeen (17) year career in correctional education as a tutor, He is retired, living with family, in Elkhart, Indiana. He volunteers as a tutor with the Elkhart Community Schools in an Adult Class focusing on High School Equivalent Diplomas.. He also volunteers at his family church unloading trucks for the Food Bank. Weather permitting, he takes a daily bicycle ride and/or visits a local gym. He enjoys traveling to visit old friends, seeing America in the process. He is very grateful for his blessed life.
