About the Author

Linda Laird and Walt Thorp joined in a venture to produce a book from a child's point of view in a fun sing song poem. Mr. Thorp worked in Public Affairs and then moved on to study law and become a lawyer. Ms. Laird was an illustrator and photojournalist who became a high school art teacher and is now retired. The shared book was inspired by one of Ms. Lairds illustration and Mr. Thorps experience in raising his two children.
