Every time you ask Him for things that you cannot afford Do you feel worthy of the gifts and the blessings you receive? Yet every day, people like you, still refuse to give praise or believe How many times are you blinded by what others have and what you wish for? Instead of being thankful for what you’re given, why do you feel you deserve more? How many times do you complain about what others don’t go through? Instead of being grateful about the blessings God has given you How many times were you rescued from your own path of destruction? Instead of looking at the results that have allowed you to function How many times have you been blinded by how others compare to you? Instead of looking at your own blessings like you need to If you just took the time to think about the little things you could do Then you would see how blessed others see and hope for about you If you would just take the time out to open your selfish eyes You could really see the problems cleared for your path of surprise So instead of complaining about what you don’t get from Thee Take a moment to look at what your eyes can’t see!
