About the Book

This collection of poems is based on the Japanese haiku form. They present a series of pensive, witty and sometimes acerbic observations of living for a year in Wellington, New Zealand.

About the Author

Paul Dexter has written poetry all his life. An English Chartered Accountant, he ran his own business for many years, before a move into university lecturing. His interests include playing and watching football and cricket, cycling, gardening, quizzing, music and film. He is at ease with a coffee or a pint of beer, watching the world or in good conversation. He collects cigarette cards, first edition books and vinyl records, enjoying music on his jukebox and as an occasional disc jockey. Paul currently lives in New Zealand with his wife, Barbara, and they have two beautiful daughters, Isabel and Jenny.
