Lucas Reeds leads an average life in this dog eat dog world known as society. His day consists of the same routine: In the mornings exercising his brain to figure out new ways to escape the wrath of James the Gay Postman, enjoying the thrills of public transport, working with the fun and quirky Larry and finally returning home to his empty crappy apartment.

However, when he receives a letter from his retirement home jailed parents (Ironically, thanks to Lucas himself). Memories resurface, of the traumatic death of his only girlfriend. He is once again imprisoned inside his own pain and misery.

Can Lucas conquer his inner demons once again? Or will they win once and for all?

About the Author

My name is Jessica Powles; I am a young author from Cairns, Queensland. From a young age, I never thought seriously about what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I definitely wasn’t the brightest of students and I didn’t have any outstanding talents. Except for writing; that’s when I decided to pursue the dream of becoming an established author. So, I focused on my writing instead of my studies and hoped for the best. I just wanted to prove that a humble small city folk like me could be something. And that’s what I achieved.
