About the Book
This book is an attempt to return middle readers to the fold of the written word, I try to cultivate an awareness of poetry, make it easy, accessible and fun. In this work I will shed the chains of elitism, and bring poetry back to the people from all walks of life, all ages and tastes.
About the Author
Born in Perth Scotland in the shadow of the war years, I949. Secondary school educated. Started work at the age of fifteen, Had a variety of jobs. Traveled extensively around the world. Came to Ireland in 1979, LIVED IN EAST Cork for some years before moving to Mallow, Co Cork, where I now reside. Winner of Simon community poetry contest 2004. Poetry also featured in a film of the same year, shown at the Cork film festival , People, places and things. A contributor to many anthologies in New Zealand, UK, And USA.
