Bola ‘The Desperate Naija Woman™’ Essien-Nelson is your everyday Nigerian working woman, wife and mom doing her best to keep all her balls in the air in the vibrant, cosmopolitan and sometimes maddening city of Lagos, Nigeria. Bola began blogging on the 14th of January 2009 and since that day; her love for writing has literally taken on a life of its own taking her on an incredible journey of pure wonder and self-discovery. ‘Writing makes me smile on the inside.
