Silver-O on a 455 bus

About the Book

Silver-O the cat loves buses, especially 455 bus, the only bus on the street. He is so fascinated by it. He decides to go for a ride unaccompanied, and ends up in a garage full of many buses. After all the excitement he falls asleep on a stationary tour bus. He wakes up later on the moving bus. He is terrified at first, but then he remembers Job’s car in the garage. The bus will end up in a bus garage, and a 455 bus will be waiting to take him back home.

About the Author

Linda Mirembe, mother of three boys. Multimedia developer and a Milliner. Born and raised in Uganda, moved to Sweden aged 20. Currently living in Purley, Surrey. I am forever grateful to my mother Edith, who introduced me to the wonderful world of reading. To my youngest son Imran, his first words were not mama or dada but ‘fo-das,’ he meant 455 bus. To honour my biggest inspiration, my paternal grandmother Marjorie, I plucked up the courage to write. This year 2011 would have been her 100th birthday. She was a teacher and an author.
