About the Book

Sandra’s passion for wildlife and nature is clearly evident in this wonderful display of photographs

which have taken a decade or so to collect. Never thinking that she would eventually publish her

photographs, Sandra recently decided to share her work with us, so that we too

could experience and enjoy the magnifi cence of Kruger.

With her keen sense of natural beauty, Sandra has managed to portray the timelessness, enduring

beauty, solitude and serenity of Kruger. She has ensured that we journey through the Park in a

manner that captures the very essence and breathlessness of Africa.

From early morning sunrises, to wildlife going about their daily routines, one is mesmerized by the

splendour of the trees and paths and overwhelmed by the seemingly endless grasslands, water and

landscape panoramas. The late afternoon vistas and sunsets leave one awestruck.

“A Scenic View of Kruger National Park” is a celebration of the true Spirit of Africa. This work by

Sandra Mercer should be an inspiration to all of us to take time out of our busy lives, to enjoy and

appreciate Earth’s natural wonders and to absorb their greatness into our very Souls.
