About the Book

How can one man, Tyler ‘Tunk’ Merchant, life affected so many other? Follow his life from a small town on a large lake through a war, friendships and family. Put yourself in his shoes and those of his circle. This book brings together a group of stories about people’s lives as viewed from a real thought somewhat mythical place known as God’s Front Porch. It’s double meaning bring the reader to wonder about their own place in life. You will live inside the good and bad of mankind: laugh, cry, smile, wonder and think about what might happen next, as you are being immersed in these lives. It is not intended to suggest a Supreme Being but merely causes you to wonder ‘what if’. It is a number of adventure all tied together by a common thread. The intent is to have the reader see life with a power of judgment but be careful because life is just not all that simple.
