About the Book
Our daughter’s escapades started when she was eleven and our souls were shredded through the years. She was 35 when she overdosed. Through many trials of hope then despair walls were built up and torn down. I describe in this book just a fraction of those trials. I’m hoping someone can relate and lessen their pain. Every page tells a story.
About the Author
I was born in Virginia and I am still pulled by the mountains where my grandmother’s farm was in Bluemont. I was a tomboy who loved the horses and animals. I was very adventurous frolicking through the fields and woods turning over logs and stones looking for frogs and lizards. I was flocked by many a rooster and goose chased by a moma sow and run after by a bull. Most holidays and summers were spent in the country and going to church and bible school. My sister and I had horses growing up until we started noticing boys. It was downhill from there. I must say I couldn’t be more content now that I’m older and have been married for 48 years.
