About the Book

JOY, Delight of Christian Living, examines the Biblical, historical and spiritual expressions of experiencing the joys possible in daily life. There is the instant of joy and our memory of it. The temporalness of these experiences reaches their spiritual fulfillment.

About the Author

H. Eugene Johnson served in the U.S. Navy in World War II in the Pacific Theatre. He has been an ordained minister of the Christian Church/Church of Christ since 1949; serving churches in Kansas, Tennessee and Florida. Mr. Johnson holds graduate degrees in philosophy, theology and law; and has taught both law and world religions at the college level. He is retired from the field of law after practicing forty years. He lives in Tampa, Florida, enjoying association with five children and five grandchildren. His previous publications have been in poetry and American church history.
