About the Author
Denise Nessel has had wide experience in education, having worked as a classroom teacher, a university professor, an instructional supervisor, a designer and writer of print and multimedia educational materials, an author of professional books for teachers, and a teaching consultant. She has spent many hours in classrooms around the country and abroad, observing the fascinating ways that teachers and students interact as they engage in the process of learning.
