About the Book
With a 14 year impeccable career behind him, Major Sullivan, while doodling on a piece of paper in a hi-level briefing in Vietnam, wrote the name Jack Anderson. Later three colonels drew the very mistaken conclusion that he was going to pass sensitive information to the well-known columnist, and brought this to the attention of General Abrams, i.e., the Eisenhower of Vietnam. Abrams quickly decided: “Send him to the front lines. Investigate his past until all inadequacies are revealed. Adjust his records so he will never be promoted again.”
