"Tommy Tooth Has Arrived," is an interactive children´s book written for first graders to educate them on oral health. Tommy Tooth visits Mrs. Kelley´s first grade class to talk about how much special care he needs as a newly erupted permanent tooth. He discusses the importance of oral health care, how to´s, and what if´s. He then takes the class with him to his first dental visit. The class sees first hand what to expect from a routine dental visit. At the end of the day Tommy is exhausted, but satified that the first graders now have the knowledge to keep him healthy the rest of there lives (80-90 years).
