About the Book

P Casper Battrell grew up on the Oregon Coast, but headed for the Desert Southwest after graduating from Walla Walla College with BS in Nursing. The land of red rocks and red sand, as well as the natives both Indian and Anglo was everything she had dreamed it would be. With both a horse, and a 4-wheel drive, she explored every canyon in search of Anasazi dwellings. This made her wonder what their lives were like and she started to put on paper what she imagined in her heart and mind.
