About the Book

Quantum Mechanics is today a perfect theoretical compromise between an absurd reality -we’ve built for ourselves- and a bunch of lucky experimental results whose conclusions point toward chaos, uncertainty and chance. More like “A sort of to be or not to be version of a XXI century’s Shakespearean “happy” Hamlet whose conflicts had been finally resolved:

To be a particle or to be a wave
Men! That’s a tough decision to make
I’ll tell you this: let’s have it both ways!
Damn it! It doesn’t make any sense!
The whole thing is just insane!
That’s it! Common sense will get the blame
If quantum mechanics ought to be saved
Whether they’ll like it or not
Logic and common sense must go to hell!
It ain’t good men… You know what I’m saying?”

It sounds funny, I’ll agree. The problem is that if sounds funny smells funny and also tastes funny is a tragedy. A theory resembling more a version of a “peekaboo” between two opposite states than a serious attempt to describe reality in a frame of logic and common sense. Oops! I almost forgot it! Those two were out of the “game” a long time ago by a bunch of “process philosophers.”

“Chance is a name for our ignorance” Leslie Stephen

“Warning Scientific Discretion Advised” is an exciting story about the secrets of matter, time and space.

It’s a book that will take you on a voyage through time and to the same place where a narrow line dividing fiction from science is defined by common sense and not by a blind set of rules coming from a desk of a bureaucrat. It’s arrogant (I’ll give you that!), sometimes ironic and from time to time humorous. I would say… it reminds me the typical behavior of “a little animal 5 feet tall, who always act as suited its caprice.”

There was a man whose dream was to find a theory capable of offering a complete description of reality. The man’s name was Albert Einstein and his last theory became known as the “Theory of Everything.” It is unfortunate that He never found it, but we know for sure it exists somewhere. My book is also a tribute to him and the rest of those whose work and sacrifices contributed to make this a better world.

Einstein’s dream has been put “on hold” by a science going wild. Judging by an old quote of Niels Bohr, prophesying a natural “shock” as a pre-condition to begin showing signs of “understanding” the weirdness of quantum mechanics and the absurdities embedded in its own interpretation of reality, the final truth as Bohr himself predicted has become another human utopia.

“No credentials? No problem!” You are not required being awarded with the Noble Prize in physics to enjoy a good discussion over the greatest secrets of the universe. In fact, I count on your opinions and point of views about a subject that concerns you as well as the rest of us.

HUMANS ARE BLUFFING!

I refuse to accept the “Standard Model” and the “Theory of Particles” as a part of our reality.
I refuse to accept of “particle” to describe what’s nothing else than a quantum of energy plus a secret you’ll find only in my book.
I refuse to accept gravity as the result of a so-called “space
