About the Book
Marked for death, and alone after a series of brutal events claim the life of the man she loved. Frightened, and hunted by the CIA and the most powerful mob in the Balkans. American photographer Sarah Hoffman finds herself trapped in a seemingly mad foreign country that she knows nothing about, a country that seems so much different from the one she came to just a couple of weeks ago when it was the happiest time in her life. A country that is now suddenly thrust into war with NATO. Sarah must overcome the impossible to find a way back to New York at a time when it’s dangerous to be an American in Yugoslavia.
