About the Book

Peggy and Alan wanted to provide the perfect educational background for their kids, Spike and Ted. With that as their goal, they moved to Dijon, France, lived on a Dutch canal barge, started a business, purchased and renovated an old stone farmhouse – and then had dinner! But was it perfect? And exactly what did they get an education in? Peggy Horn writes about universal issues – justice, forgiveness, parenting problems and recipes! About the Author

Born in the Midwest, Peggy Horn began moving at an early age with her peripatetic parents, which created a pattern that continued into adulthood. Part of her education at the University of California at Berkeley, involved one year with the Education Abroad Program at the University of Madrid, after which she became a lawyer, worked for a Dutch non profit corporation in Holland and lived with her husband, Alan, and their two children for nearly six years in France.
