About the Author

Demetria Johnson George has spent most of her life in Camden, Alabama. As a child, Demetria George was raised and extensively taught about Jesus by her grandmother, the late Mariah Wiggins, who encouraged her to read her Bible and trust in God. She is a licensed evangelist under the leadership of her daughter Pastor Lenora and her husband Bishop Hartsfield. She has diligently served as the President of the Pastor's aids at Mt. Sinai Ministries. She is also a graduate from Monroe Community College. In 2005, she authored God Has A Plan For Me. Since battling with breast cancer and the death of her daughter, Veronica Peterson, Evangelist George courageously gives her best and of herself as a dedicated writer who speaks directly to those who might feel that life is hopeless. Her motto has been reinforced after winning her battle with cancer and finding hope in the death of her daughter in Jesus: "Suffering is a test of faith in God. If God's love calls you to suffering, respond by self-surrending and you will learn the mystery of love."
