About the Book

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO CHANGE OUR THOUGHTS AND NOT CHANGE THE WORLD This book is about experiencing deep voice of love and the understanding the necessity of human rights that has made me more optimistic about the future of human justice. It is based on the real life stories of various characters who have experienced, witnessed and explored the complexity of the sadistic immoral child abuse who often end up in the streets, civil war where boys as young as ten years are kidnapped by militants taken to the forest and trained to be mercenaries and commit vicious crimes, the dramatic adventures in the forest with my grandfather as we look for medication, listening to the voices of the ancestors in the wee hours. The ultimate drug deals in high school where teens are forced to take more than they bargain for. The merciless Aids that swiped papa and mama mobutu leaving him weeping alone in the cemetery no papa and mama struggling as an orphan in the contemporary life. The oppression in our secular society. The confusion between terrorism and Religion. The intuitive vision from my mom. The emotional and physical wounds characterized in this book depicts how far the clarity of human rights and justice is in some parts of the world. I believe that tomorrow will be the universal exuberant confirmation of radical love and justice if you and I begin our part tonight. Any human longing is to see the good of tomorrow but this cannot be achieved without the change of our thoughts and attitude. If we are all equally moved in our mind by the epiphany there will be no doubt that tomorrow we will thrill with a new song. The characters in this book reveal in a profound way what it means by electrifying suffering and at the same time it gives a sense of hope.

About the Author

Being born in the slopes of the abadare ridges in Kenya means you are prepared for anything in your life particularly when you are a boy from child neglect and abuse to facing wild cats. I grew up in the village well prepared by my parents to face the unpredictable circumstances in my childhood and all through my life. Went to the local school and college and later found my way to America. Having learned my life in these two distinct cultures from a culture where people hold strictly to their age old ways which often bring them in to conflict with the modern world, has reshaped dynamically the way I view the gift of love and the necessity to fight for human rights particular for women and children.
