About the Author

Martha Lee Brannock remains a “Tar Heel”, having grown up in Lexington, North Carolina. She was educated at Salem College, High Point University and the University of North Carolina with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. She is an avid ACC basketball fan, as most NC folks are. For thirty one years she taught hundreds of first graders in North Carolina and Georgia with joy and love. Following retirement — time to write books for children to enjoy!
