Wendy Lestina has been a magazine editor (Savvy, Small Press, Datamation), a public speaker, the national director of a businesswoman’s organization (NAFE), and the author of two books of humor, including 100 Things I’m Not Going To Do Now That I’m Over 50 (Putnam, 1995), a bestseller. In 1997, Wendy was awarded an honorary Doctor of Letters degree from Middlebury College, Middlebury, Vermont. A member of the board of directors of the Institute for Family Development International, San Francisco, and Human Services Management Corp., San Francisco, she lives with her husband, John, on the family farm in Ferndale, California, where she writes a weekly column “From The Back Pew,” for the Ferndale Enterprise.
