Have you ever considered how fascinating and valuable each minute is to our twenty-four hour day? Many times I have penned my thoughts pertaining to chosen minutes of personal experiences, spiritual truths, friendships, and relationships. In so doing, these poems, short stories, and true life events have given me a more intimate and lasting way of sharing God and myself with my grandchildren. May they be encouraged and inspired while reading for themselves the Heartbeats from Grandma. Then, may they look for their own colorful discoveries around them and find true beauty and purpose within their own twenty-four hour day.

About the Author

Ethelene Mary (Morse) Henze was born in Drayton Plains, Michigan, located just north of Pontiac. She graduated from Waterford Township High School, and retired from a 31 year career with telephone companies in Michigan and Arizona. Over the years, her love and ownership of horses, drawing, writing poems, stories, and singing have given her much enjoyment. Ethelene and husband, Bob, have been married for 45 years and live in Tucson, Arizona. They have two loving sons, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and three cherished grandchildren. To God be the glory.
